When eKo e-bikes are shipped to your home, all the wiring and brake cables are attached so the setup is very simple. You only need to attach the handle bar, seat, the front wheel, controller and the pedals. All the tools you need are in the tool kit that comes with the accessories. There is also a patch kit.
Lay the box on its side and open the top (see arrows on it’s side). Slide the bike out and take off the protective wrappings. Attach the handle bar (not the controller yet), the seat and turn the e-bike over so its resting on the seat and handle bar. Now bolt on the front wheel. Then flip the bike over and use the kick stand to keep upright. Now attach the controller and pedals as shown in the videos. The videos also show how to use the controller. There is enough charge to take it for a test ride but you will need to do a complete charge soon.
Assembly should be a breeze with or without the help of our assembly videos. However, for any reason that you don’t feel comfortable setting it up yourself, most regular bicycle shops will assemble it for you for a small fee.
